Singer of the Week: In Loving Memory of Amy Winehouse
Towering hairdos, Cleopatra eyes, tight, short dresses and red lips. That is how the fashion world remembers late Amy Winehouse who died at the early age of 27. She was definitely the British sensation with an attitude, but it’s not just her rebel looks that raised eyebrows; the “Rehab” singer definitely had skills, and an incredible talent.
The desperate diva had always been troubled, and she wasn’t afraid to admit it: “the more insecure I feel, the bigger my beehive gets” she once confessed. Drugs and alcohol took over her life, although her entourage tried to get her on the right track, but she found herself in a downward spiral, while her music career was rising more and more. Amy will forever be remembered for her short, outstanding career.
Glee: The 3D Concert Movie
Attention Gleeks! Get ready for the 3D experience that will rock your world and give you your so much needed dose of multiplicity, fame, talent and merriness!
The show stood out for its different styles and eras, as well as for its astonishing triple-threat cast (singing, dancing and acting talents), not to mention the latter’s different sizes, shapes, ethnicities, sexual preferences and levels of talent (Lea Michele in the role of Rachel and Amber Riley playing Mercedes).
Glee’s ratings were so much soaring that it had to be produced as a movie, and 3D was the ultimate goal to aim for.
